Julie Oborny is a graduate student at San Jose State University’s School of Library and Information Science. She also volunteers as the computer lab coordinator for San Jose Public Library’s literacy program. Julie is determined to make technology more accessible and to improve digital literacy in her community through the use of free and open-source software. She is currently eating leftover Halloween candy and rereading Orson Scott Card’s Speaker for the Dead.
